Retreat into Bliss with Yoga
I could not help but smile at my Costa Rican students after teaching my first Vinyasa Yoga class after maternity leave. I found myself moving through the postures wholeheartedly, perhaps adjusting much less than I would normally during one of my retreats.
It’s amazing to me that such happiness can come from a simple hour of moving the body and focusing on the breath. But that is exactly what Yoga can bring to each and every one of us. Just one hour each day can result in profound improvement in one’s mood and disposition towards the daily life, as well as have significant positive effects on the physical body.
We are blessed to live at a time where Yoga is available to us all. I’m excited about the Zumba Fitness & Yoga retreat in Costa Rica next April where I’ll be teaching evening Yoga in a pavilion with an inspirational view of sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Today’s class brought me close to bliss, and I hope our guests will enjoy a similar feeling during their visit to Costa Rica during their upcoming Yoga retreat.
